So is this how Allstate always operates? Before this transformative growth b—s— I mean. Just randomly drop all claims emails less than two hours before they’re scheduled? Say what you will about Esurance (actually it was pretty great, especially now able to compare to this sh–show) but calls - even important ones - we scheduled in advance with at least a few days lead time. The first panicked email burst I remember came when Allstate announced this c-ap last December. Now everything’s last minute. There’s only a few conclusions. Today’s call is a bomb about to be dropped on our heads or it’s some c-ap. But if it’s c-ap why do it like this? If it’s so f—ing important but NOT a bombshell why the urgency? Again I’ll ask - is this how Allstate just does business? Do these a–holes who run a multi billion dollar company not know how to use a day planner?

Shapiro ruined this company. He doesn't give a sheeeet about anyone unless it's one of his people he brought in from LB. Cheryl Bendsten put on a real nice act on the Claims call...really good acting like she cared.....if you've worked with her you know......
This is how it’s been since Shapiro got hired. The first change was next gen 2008 and then around 2010 you could just feel the morale start to go down like there was something in the air and then around 2014-15 after Shapiro came in things just went haywire and it’s been one fire after another. The company seemed to just always be reacting to Problems caused by their decisions.. Last minute changes. A bunch of jargon about transparency, cutting benefits, revising PDs so that it’s based more on subjective opinion of your manager rather than actual number and goal achievement based etc. so in short.. Yea this is how Allstate has been for quite awhile now and seems to be just getting worse.
No, this isn’t Allstate. Didn’t Eric come from Esurance? I agree it started with Shapiro and now Brandt.
Appears to be this way. this is my first time going through a lay off with them. I've never experienced a lay off like this before.
I’ve been through a few office closures and they were typically no notice...
To answer your question, Imo it's been like this since Shapiro was hired. That was when things started to get half a$$ and head towards the c-apper.
