Salary Adjustment (Raises) for 2021

Might be stupid to ask considering current climate, has anyone heard about if they’re giving out raises at the end of the year? Or if there’s going to be 0?

If you were on an airplane, and a door blew out, and the crew was busy trying to get the plane landed safely with minimal damage, would you ask the flight attendant if they will still be serving lunch? I didn’t think so. Congratulations. You answered your own question.

Salary increases are done based on performance and where you are in the pay scale of your Salary Group. My understanding is the pay scale has been greatly reduced, based on a recent review of competitors pay. So maybe people who recently were promoted to a new Salary Group with a high performance ranking will get a minimal raise. But if you have been able to keep your job, this should be ok for the next year or two. I think they do the analysis every x number of years.

Happy to give you a salary raise of -50%. Time to make everyone useful and productive.

My guess is that most "outstanding" ranked employees will see a token 1-2% increase just to help with retention, whole everyone else will stay flat.

What you can expect is ZERO communication about the subject.

The Management (CEO down to managers and supervisors) will first PIP rank and file before they sacrifice a penny from their salary.

100% chance it is ZERO! More than likely salary cuts from what I am hearing. Contractors have taken anywhere from 10% to some on the inspection side up to 20%....

Let them quit. I encourage them if they feel they aren’t the right fit for the company. If there is enough attrition, that will prevent further reductions. Currently studying elimination of management layers. Bye bye to many DHs , GLs, and “Advisor” positions

Manager here....salary adjustments are determined in October. We have been informed that system will stay locked. Therefore....ZERO!

No one knows. With the new ranking system, even you manager /supervisor is being removed from the process. Supposed to be from HR and is based on your performance group from ranking cycle vs what the company is giving out for raises. I'd suspect 0 for next year. But you never know... The company is about to have a lot of regretted losses due to employee attrition. Our site is already REALLY worried about this.

Did you really ask that ? Zero would be a result, don’t rule out a cut
