Just read the revised leadership structure. Still looks mighty white. For the record, Donald Torres is not Hispanic. This may not look obvious to most but look at south Texas leadership vs management. Not too many Hispanic names.

I’m Mexican American. I work STX for CHK. We have all heard comments about “Wets” in the brush. About the bosses not living in the towns where the field office are because there aren’t many white people. About not being able to buy food at the convenience store in English (not true). We just swallow it like good little loyal Mexicans wanting to keep our job. There was even an email from a foreman about potential new hires. He states that a certain person would be better for the field office close to the border because he spoke broken English. Yes, I still have the email but I want my job more than I want him to lose his.
So you think things would be somehow better if people with different sounding last names or different shades of skin tone would somehow be better? As if those thing are major influences on people ability to make good financial and technical decisions?
Sounds super racist to me. Also whiny AF. Maybe you need more diversity training sessions. THAT'LL fix things!
Sure, a lot of the leaders at CHK s—, but it's not due to their melatonin levels. Let's be honest, leadership doesn't do much anyway. They mostly ask the individual contributor teams for recommendations, and then agree or disagree. They're pretty f'ing worthless. So remember, 1 finger at them mean 4 back at you...
There are many worse issues to criticize that are not related to race. Don't stoop to that level.
What else would you expect ?
