Thread regarding Pratt and Whitney layoffs

In the past day rtx corporate doubled the number of layoffs. It was not communicated down to the RC and PW so the division leadership was caught off guard and as of this morning and r probably in a scramble to increase the headcount reduction in an orderly manner so operations schedule and deliverables to the government and customers can be met. I guess do it right the first time doesn’t apply in this instance. When cuts are this deep it affects executive and director headcount so a new new organization will emerge.
