I heard from confidential rumors that after the Oct 7th LR, another one is in the works for mid Nov.
This will be a cleanup LR to get rid of folks who were offered the ER but declined to take it. The package will be similar to the Oct 7th LR, just to spite and piss off who did not go with ER.
I think folks who have not yet decided on the ER
should reconsider and jump on it
else you gonna regret big time

At the last leader update, they said it would not be email. There is management training coming for it (starting about sep 30, I believe).

Oct 7th is the notification that you are "at risk" and is not an LR. It's an opportunity for you to voluntarily quit and get a package similar to the package offered to those who took the early retirement offer, so it could easily be a web letter like they did for the ER package.
Then, in Dec, when the forced separations take place which is the real LR, that will mainly be manager meetings. I hear some teams have a group meeting where everyone is informed at the same time "in mass", but my experience was always the mysterious 1:1 meeting request from the manager with no topic or agenda included.

Its just a wind up from some Cisco person who either should be on the list or was and is now bitter. Ignore it.

This post is hard to believe. number of employees who rejected ER is around 5000
it is no way a mini LR to clean them up
ER and WTO LR are decided
you can’t get on either train at this point
they are now doing executive LRs
Nov will be the end of LR cycle until Feb next yr.
