The scheduling staffing job is a nightmare! We are not HR, not paid close to what they were, but have been given double the work load, we have hired 100 or more people this year and they just keep piling on the work. Our turnover is as bad as the rest if the overworked store. Every one is so stressed; especially in Utah. I hope for a layoff of us. I need a break! I swear every day it's piling something else on, with a parade of whiners, my schedule, I'm fake sick to get 2 weeks paid off. We need 2 extra weeks vacation. K–l me, I could use the rest!

: @azf+16yqO3WL is correct—SSA’s are basically the new HR mgrs without the manager title. It’s a change in title name ONLY. The duties are the same. This was done so they could get rid of all the old HR managers who were bonus eligible and were on salary.
SSA isnt a management position. It has nothing to do with human resources. Do the schedules and orientation and stop complaining.
As an SSA yes the job is stressful. But also don't forget how stressful it is for our peers on the sales floor. Its about time management and really getting your asms to do the things they are supposed to do.
To any SSA that complains.... You made your bed you sleep in it
I've asked our SSA maybe three questions in the six months I've been at this sh–hole and she acts put out every f—ing time in her nice air conditioned office. I don't feel sorry for these people. They have no idea what we go through on the sales floor day after f—ing day 10 hours a day with zero chances of sitting down and taking a break!
Why don't you just k–l yourself if you can't handle it!!
What? You wanted a cushy job? Should of applied at corporate then.
You ARE the HR replacement. They just eliminated the old hr position and resurrected it under another name like they did to the old dept mgrs.
