Thread regarding Pratt and Whitney layoffs

Any updates on Layoffs?

It’s been super quiet and I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing. I’ve heard 20%. 10% salary/10% production.

Your math is rather odd

This is so strange because they are still hiring here in Columbus, GA and layoff talk is almost non-existent.

I heard different numbers for different groups. 10% for X, 20% for Y. I imagine (hope) they are looking at where the resource demand is and allocating targets based on that. I'm hopeful because of the earnest attempt to move people from commercial to military where the demand is.

10% of salary plus 10% of hourly is 10% of everyone. Good luck everyone

The 20% number is real. 10% salaried and 10% production (read hourly) would equal 20%. It's a matter of days.

OP is a clown. Math doesn’t make sense. What he’s claiming is b—s—, doesn’t make any sense

10%salary and 10% production would not equal 20%
