About 100 people were laid off yesterday including myself. They rate the team by a bell curve and someone has to be on the low end. Those people got cut even tho we got higher grades in the past. Those people were also older and made more money. Cheaper for them to lay us off and hire off shore than it is to give our paycuts back.

Agree Nuti was no different or Nuyberg before him, 25 yrs here with being laid off 4 separate times, I was just lucky another team pick me after the first 3.

I was one of them also. There were so many laid off that NCR scheduled benefits and placement sessions over a two day period twice a day. This new regime has no loyalty to anyone except their old selves. Bill Nuti would have never pulled this as he demonstrated during the economic downturn. This hippie and his wash woman have different ideas.
Very common scenario since the 90s. Ncr is not a place to make a career as I thought. Their just a stepping stone to get your foot in a door but don’t don’t make it long term. 24 yrs 11 mo 16 days. I made it before shipped to Serbia. After I was laid off they had issues with untrained Serbia call takers, called me back to go train them. I said no. But I will say as I interviewed for other jobs outside the company I would be taking a 30 to 40 percent pay cut to start over. So I just switched careers with less stress and no pagers
