Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Still trying to get my pension, need help!

So when I was laid off 10/18 the resource specifically said I was eligible to take out my pension. I checked all the boxes to get it. After layoff their third party company said absolutely no. Where is my money? I want to call and get more info but I can't remember the company they use!? Can anyone tell me what it's called?

The Alight reps come across as newbies - much like new claim reps (claims my background). You can easily get different answers on the same question. Many answers are prefaced with 'I think' or such similar. I find them rather too chevalier with their answers - Hey, it's only your the -rest-of-your-life that you're dealing with (satire).

IMPORTANT: Follow up everything in writing to confirm your understanding. You'll be so glad that you did if anything goes sideways.

If you are over 55 you can draw your pension but you cannot lump sum it. If you are under 55 and the net present value of your pension is $5000 or less they will cash it out in a lump sum. Are you maybe talking about your 401k that you can move to any other qualified plan or IRA? If you cash out your 401k early you will get with taxes and a 10% early withdrawal penalty.

The third parties contract and practices are lacidasical and globalist and their party network contracts deceiving. Not private and the system stinks
