Yes, I like Belk. Yes, I believe in the current agenda. Email, Credit, picking, and helping In anyway we can is the name of the game. No, I don’t work for corporate, I work In the Store. I enjoy figuring out how to do what I’m asked. I guess That’s why I’m actually good at all of the above and am happy. I find a way.
Honey, get a new job if you can, it’s a nightmare working for Belk now, unlike anything I’ve seen and I have been working retail off and on my whole life and I’m almost 60.
I've been on furlough and I'm afraid to go back .It was so stressful before. The constant hounding about credit phone and email capture. When I think of being back in there I feel like I may have a panic attack. Since being out of there I've been so much happier and stress free. But . I do need the money. So if they call me back I've got to make the best decision.
Air conditioning? Not in our store. It's so hot that customers are miserable. Belk has always not cared about the associates but now it is just insulting them. They preach every morning about what to do to make more money for them. It reeks of desperation. But yes I am getting a paycheck.
That’s a great selling point for a potential employer “come work for us we have air conditioning and you don’t need a college degree” uummm ok then

A paycheck in air conditioning that doesn't require a college education isn't the worst thing in the world. There's lots worst out there.
