Mid to late September they’ll let you know then add 60 days and you’re on the streets in time for Thanksgiving and Xmas while Tommy and Glenn sing holiday songs with our Indian brethren who’ll be making $5 an hour to piss of Allstate customers who they can’t understand.
Pretty much by end of September. However, we were told that layoffs will continue until Transformative Growth targets are met - so always on the chopping block for the foreseeable future.
If there is a "positive" to this at all, this may be the best time to get laid off in a way. Allstate is being a little more generous than usual with Cobra continuing at current rates, 60 day notice. Plus due to Covid there are enhanced unemployment benefits. Once the Covid situation improves, we may see the job market improve as well.
If your job is impacted, assessments are going on now, then another 6 weeks they will let us know if we are canned or not, then 60 days to keep working, then severance and kicked out the door
Then 3-6 months after things start falling apart and they rehire half the people they canned, at reduced pay of course
These nuts......
