Duct tape and regret

This company is being held up by duct tape and regret. They're too cheap to let us buy shipping boxes, yet they expect us to finish all of our CDS orders every day. They've cut our hours and let go of so many useful people and wonder why so many customer complain about not getting their orders. They've played hide and seek with angry customers and make them go through hoops just to find out the item they ordered a month ago still is "missing". Because of this, the customer calls stores who didn't even place the damn order and the employees get harassed by both the customer and their DM when Karen decides to complain.

I am so sick of working my butt off for a company that doesn't care about me or its customers. I used to love working here and I kept telling myself things will get better. They just keep getting worse. I wish i could quit right now, but my small city doesn't have a lot of options.

No employee transfer at our location in Tampa, FL . All employees from SM and down were ALL offered a severance package.
Good luck when they close you down.

To the complainers: why keep posting and whining? Honestly it is sooooo old. Your store is closing? You could have been looking long ago. I really feel for the very long term emoyees..but at least their resume will look good with years at same employer yes this board is about layoffs but so many here just complain and complain..the store is horrible, you work your butts off, customers are terrible, merchandise is outdated. Would you staying a relationship if it was that bad?

Ha! All these people on here saying to stop complaining and calling BS on there being a list were just put to bed by the person under me saying they were just told yesterday they are closing and the clearance sale starts as soon as next week.!

There are more people on here that want to cling to any sliver of hope because they are unable to move on from this c-appy company or to lazy to look for something else than those that "complain".

Facts are facts. How many people here that work in stores are overworked because of payroll and staff cuts? Who thinks this will improve anytime soon? BBB has been saying for years they will update their technology from the early nineties! The technology is so outdated it is not a simple or quick task to bring it current. It's also not cheap.

Everyone can think (and complain about) what they want, but when looking at facts BBB has no future. The question you have to be honest with yourself about is getting paid next to nothing worth the work you are doing and how the company treats you?

Yes, unfortunately our store will be closing. We found yesterday ....Its sad. But at least we will not lose our jobs. Will be transfered to another location, which means longer commute time.
And the "Store clearance starts next week" Only thing we were not told was how long of a time to expect the actual closing date.
So to the people on here saying that there is NO LIST , I quess there is.

And by the way a list of closings are out....SM's have been contacted. Watch for the markdowns to start happening soon. And the doors will be closed in a month or 2.

umm customers have a right to complain when a company THEY PAY when they order stuff never arrives, arrives damaged, gets lost or they never get their refund they asked for so if thats being a Karen , someone PAYING YOUR SALARY everyday then sh– i wanna be a Karen

Then make your own options. If your area is big enough to support a BBB then there must be other stores. A lot of companies are hiring remote workers. You complaining about customers complaining is hysterical. You sound like a "Karen" yourself.
