My plant had a driver at a company money do exactly that. Took the first box of pizza off the top of the delivery girls arms. Then took it to his truck to eat.

Drivers want all the credit. Driver want the highest pay grades. Drivers want to do the least amount of work. And most of all. Drivers feel entitled to 2 ribeyes, A whole large pizza, Or an 8 piece chicken basket at company meals.

I don’t even expect drivers to actually deliver milk...let alone actually clean their dumpy truck that sits in idle while they pretend to do paperwork for 2 hours outside a store.

Agreement was reached with ADT to install/upgrade all security systems plant wide and in every single unit of the fleet. Terms undisclosed.
Fleet will have GPS tracking with encased units that are tamper proof. Real time tracking capability that matches the vehicle, speed, location, and camera to view and record every movement by drivers.
All driver information will be relayed in real time to distribution managers who will be required to submit reports to plant managers on a weekly basis.
