Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Christmas in September

Was told today that when the Christmas season starts hours are going to a rotating schedule. Two days off in a row with every seventh week you get Sat and Sun off. Doesn't apply to part timers or seasonal hires.

Most of our days off are together already. To have a full weekend off means a long stretch of working in order to get hat. I'd just as soon have it like it is and put in for pto for a weekend off if need be.

Think about it. If you have 2 days off in a row you use it to your advantage. That 7 day vacation turns into an 11 day vacation. Not too bad huh. Work smarter not harder.

What about people who already have their 2 days a week set off because their availability? I would not want my two days off back to back.
