If you are a cbs tech - tell them the buyout is a backroom deal because you were supposed to Vote on it. the buyout is an agreement between cbs & the union. cbs lifers are going to take the buyout by getting laid-off themselves a few months from now. the buyout and severance are the same thing- except the older cbs lifers will get unemployment as a bonus for getting younger techs laid-off first. don't trust the union and don't listen to them if they even show up when you get laid-off, however they are doing it
