What dept are you in at the corp office? Just curious?
If there planning to furlough and lay off more people - whose going to do the work? I'm in the corporate office and my department only has 4 people left? And we're all frantically looking for work anywhere. Only one team member just received an offer from the new Toys r Us online. So we'll be down to 3 in another two weeks.
I just read a memo that was left on the copier, that they will be changing furloughed employees to laid off employees. So they can start furloughing more employees.

The ceo was waiting for the benefits to run out so now that the 600 a weeks is gone most furloughed will have to go find a new job. But obviously if your full time and still furloughed you know that your probably not gonna be brought back. Would have happened by now. It’s Bed bath and beyond. Not a job that requires a degree. Time to go find something new.
I see no reason to go back to Bed Bath now at all. So much for being considered a great worker, not that I did not think anyone is expendable.
