JG, JJ, DP will all retire once the the FT and UT are settled, probably to much fanfare, farewell parties, etc. and the secretive $$$ management separation packages. They were tasked with lending some ‘credibility’ to the effort, have served their ‘purpose’, and will be replaced with D&I hi-pots from the executive management staff.
JG just does as he is told, woke up joe woke up. He isn’t going to mess that up and loss all those options.
He was told to cut people 40% in upstream and increase D&I.
He is just covering his rear end.
Hopefully someone has been secretly record this selection process and and will leak it to the media (similar to what occurred at Exxon recently) so that we can all learn if things were conducted fairly.
