I hope to make it to Nov to get RIFed. That way I get most of my STI, because you know it is going to be well below 100% next year
Just a question, I heard, and there's another thread on the topic, that there would be a July RIF (which happened) and a big one in Sept. Where did the Aug one turn up from? Is it a "rush" directive because of the huge quarter loss or is it something else? No comments on Blackboard because that was already scheduled per the WARN notice.
I heard the week of 8/17 there is going to be RIF's. It is a pay week, so it may be true.
i heard friday, 8/21 as well - no other info - just that it is coming
or Aug 31 - Mon of pay week?
The WARN notice in New York indicates 100+ Blackboard insurance folks to be on their way out starting that date.
any other WARN notices for next 1-2 months?
Sept 14th they are supposed to remove another $40 million out of IT. The first round was to remove $20 million. This was just for IT.
yeah, got to get rid of those workers bees. we need more global heads around here.
Based on the quarter results they should cut 1000 people quickly.
AIG filed a warn notice with TN for Aug 21 through Nov 30 for 79 people
