Question: Does restructuring breed nepotism?
Quite a few employees RIFd across the board. Sounds like IT and Ops had more than 10% each based on what's on this forum.
IT folks land with good jobs depending on their skills. However, ex-Ops ppl struggle as the industry is struggling.
The newcomers (new senior-mid mgmt) don't want the existing folks as they want to make space to bring in their own teams from past companies -regardless of merit.
