Thread regarding Belk layoffs

Some Store Hours Changing to 10-7

Our store is changing hours to 10-7 this week. Employee hour cuts are still in effect. We have long lines, angry customers, stressed associates, and no AC. Belk is practically giving away the store with all the discounts. The store is a wreck. Everyone is stressed and worried. How long will this last?

Air in our store works 5 days out of a months.People are angry waiting in the few lines we have open and we have to listen to all the c-ap they have to say .Management act like is all good and soon real soon things get better.Several people had their hours cut down to 28 hours a week .Stress level super high for everyone. We should sue them for all the stress /health issues all this is causing us .

The store hours extension but workers hours decreasing isn't working. It doesn't even make sense. File an OSHA complaint regarding the AC asap.

We've always worried about the mold . You could see it on those white ceiling tiles. Black mold. But i guess that's the building owners problem right.

Someone mentioned a walk out.

Sure to get publicity! Maybe get you fired.

Howz about a general sick call out!?

You do know no air means continual mold and mold spore build up inside the air ducts and throughout the building. Not healthy.

If anyone thinks any of this will get better?
There's a $2b debt note coming due. You really think you rank up any list of priorities for Sycamore?

The store is near bankruptcy, this is no longer about the virus, this is about being mismanaged and all the money going to the top executives while employees at the store level are left with nothing.
