It won’t be long before the whole Chula Vista plant is closed and the joke will be in the Leaders who think they have saved themselves in this m—acre. Production is gone. Why keep this high salaries California location open any longer than they need too? Wake up and read the writing on the wall. I hope what you unfairly didn’t to many tenured employees while saving your own skin is paid back to you ten-fold!
I have worked in the Engineering department for the past 15 years, numerous times where I worked my a– off and did not ask for OT (before they took it away). I saw the writing on the wall when my current boss was not assigning work to me. Every virtual staff mtg, it was stated by this boss that commercial aviation is being hit hard.

Guess if you're on your boss' sh– list...your SOL, they will get rid of you regardless of how external customers view you as a vital part of the working relationship.
Glad, I retained all my tribal knowledge and didn't share a lot of the intricate details to cheap labor.
What I will miss most are the friendships with the people that actually do ALL the work while others take credit for their hardwork and numerous hrs off the books to help save money.
