Some of the lowest performers are in the highest roles, deciding who the good performers are and who gets laid off. So, there’s not a lot of reason to believe that only the bad performers have been laid off...

There currently employed employees that have Performance problems that are still employed. No one knows why but the lay off, let go of many top performers from the company and left a couple very low performers there.

In a company that has shrunk substantially through repeated layoffs, you might wonder whether any employees with real performance problems remain? How and why would that occur? Not specific to MRO or these individuals, but more of an observation that you can learn so much by asking questions.

They were performance problems, and one couldn’t get along with his boss.

Anyone who thinks that layoffs haven’t been happening every week since 4/30 is a head in the sand mo–n. I can think of 2 specific people who went in every day since the pandemic and still got laid off in the past 30 days. This company is not FOR you. Layoffs are still happening EVERY week.

Wouldn't be surprised... They have a ton of managers/VPs and supervisors that could either go and nobody would miss them. They used to run D&C in one org with fewer managers than they have today and the Prod orgs had an OPS Manager and that was it.

Not saying it couldn't happen, BUT it doesn't make a ton of sense to resume drilling and have layoffs simultaneously. That would be very much mixed messaging to the IR world. I think we'd have seen reducing / deferring capital ahead of more layoffs. I have no inside knowledge, but with the call next Thursday, I'd be surprised if it happened in the next few weeks. IMO, we're probably ok until Q3.
