My whole 2nd Shift was just fired in addition to many security walk outs of long time employees, they are shredding the plant

Anyone else having problems regarding the severance pay ?
Lets be correct here. Layoff is not "fired". The term "Fired" is a product of disciplinary action.
I'm sad to hear of the loss of occupation. I've been there myself several times due to downsizing, reductions in incoming work, ect..
This COVID thing is k–ling America.
It’s unfortunate that people are being walked out with zero warning. Insulting really, especially for tenured employees. Were the people walked out busy with actual work? I’m on the engineering services side at IMS Annapolis. We don’t have any production here, so I’m just curious if production had slowed down to a crawl and the people being walked just didn’t have any work to do?
These are really depressing times. :-(
Who’s getting let go?
The Collins Aerospace firings started today, the number was huge, over 50 on my shift alone, 20+ year employees were walked out by security like common criminals, entire shifts were let go in one mass firing and it will continue tomorrow .... say a little prayer for us, another domino has fallen in our crumbling economy
That's terrible. Will there be another wave of firings?
