Can’t speak to KM but don’t see Ricoh having a “field day” , they’re in no position to take advantage; toner wars left them about as weak as xerox...t-shirt printer?

Wayy too many years of perfuming the pigs. Courtesy of the absence of forethought and witless/nefarious actions of CEOs going back to Y2000 crooks.

These “new products” are way to expensive from a reseller point of view...clients are interested in one thing...reducing costs

To the last poster. John V not technically downgrading from Fortune 500 to small company - the market & crummy business model is doing that for years. John Vs job was to a) cut costs, b) pump up stock, and put lipstick on a pig, to C) sell. They accomplished a$ & b) the HP debacle was a complete joke & failed c). Now they will have to change their focus, most likely have to break up the company & sell off the profitable parts - take his bonus and exit.

The latest Altalink launched are still from FX and this product was discussed years ago prior to this management team. It uses a product that FX had launched 3 years ago in Asia and the only change was to use the Xerox controller (with ConnectKey enabled embedded system). This new team was supposed to bring in a whole range of products to replace A4 from FX by soucing from HP (ex-Samsung). None of them happened and since FX had been told about their disengagement for A4 product, I guess John V will have to beg FX to let them have the old product for a further few years. Seems like John V team brought in nothing to Xerox only downsize Xerox from a Fortune 500 company to a medium-sized company.

They already did. On the earnings call this week Giovanni states we will have a viable 3D metal offering by year end. And will double production of hand sanitizer in the same period.

I assume everyone selling these products has been informed. I say that in jest. Feel free to counter.

Yes we’ve sold almost 300 units in the US so far. Mostly the B/W model.

Hopefully, not going the way of "Bell and Howell" branded products (as seen on TV LED flashlights and other junk), but who knows, the brand name may be all that's left....

Did the Altalink replacement line ever get produced? I heard about training over the summer for the new machines then got furloughed.

Of the many, many, many innovations? Probably after a vaccine: 2nd quarter 2021? At that time we'll be Xerox, an HP Company, (a wholly owned subsidiary of Huawei/PRC)
