I recently had an HR case opened against me because someone complained about my social media posts. Been with company 10 yr and never had a complaint for ‘wrongthink’

People should be free to post whatever they please on social media.
Should be, but are not. There are a large number of organizations that follow social media and will try to doxx and cancel you for anything controversial. Color of change is one (thanks for the millions, Chuck), but there are heaps of others.
Why is everyone assuming the OP’s social media posts were racist?
Just be vocal opposition on any topic and the cancel-culture will come after you.
Lol go ahead and post what you feel on social media. Just be ready when companies want nothing to do with you. You'd have to be quite stupid to make this mistake in 2020. My old college had a bunch of incoming freshman make videos with racial slurs in them. Guess who's not going to my old college now?
They can trace a post easily these days. Stay away from internal survey or feedback, they can trace it back to you.
Internal surveys, some of them, have a unique code to trace it back to you.
Post a pro-police message and see how quickly HR is on you. You don’t have to post anything more than that. It happened to me too
@yan+16baScD3 - we live in USSR now ?
People should be free to post whatever they please on social media. Companies don’t own you unless we are back in USSR where i grew up
This is America where i moved to be free
Jesus dude STFU. Don't post on social media at all if you feel like saying something even remotely controversial. Oh and don't accept friend requests from co-workers
surprised nobody is crying about how 40+ white men are going extinct. I guess that's just every other topic where they start that broken record.
You have a brain, and still keep active social media accounts?
You're kind of proving their point, aren't you?
idk man, somehow everyone else manages to stay HR complaint free. maybe Cisco just isnt for you. The world will always need ditch diggers.
