Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

It’s not John Vs fault but he sure didn’t help.

Remember. It is not John V’s fault that a pandemic struck, locking people in their homes and keeping them away from the office & thus not printing. That being said, he CLEARLY set up Xerox in a position to fail by not diversifying its portfolio in any meaningful way & by directing his attention solely on how to sell/merge it & make a quick buck instead - all the while misleading everyone by saying “Xerox is not for sale”. John V is a stooge put in place directly by Carl Icahn to reach his goals. They are corporate raiders. Look up their history. In any case the earnings numbers today & current stock price should be a wake up call that big big changes are coming to Xerox.

John V is a terrible leader, speaker, visionary. Eventually someone is going to feature him in a book or study. As employees we look on with shock and disgust as he makes id–tic comments including the now famous “tech powerhouse” gag. I have to believe outsiders see it also, or have seen it. Maybe he truly IS in a mob, rather than just acting like it.

He had a single job - Either get the company ready for sale or dismantle it and sell the profitable parts. That’s it. The bid to force HP to take the company over or merge was a bust. Now the only option is to tear it down to the studs and sell it for pennies on the dollar.

Kodak got 750 million to make hydroxychloroquine, and other d–gs.

Maybe JohnnyV should pitch a proposal to the current administration for Xerox to develop technology and medicine based on alien dna and demon sperm.

John V blew up Global a $2b business with a high touch customer business model. The faster slide of revenues is due to these customers leaving.

Actually, it is. While Xerox had many, many problems before he begged his way into this job, he had a year and a half to get the right team in place and begin to make positive changes. Instead, he brought in a team of greedy, immoral cast-offs focused on stripping the company bare of any future to maximize the money that went on Icahn's pocket, who then lined their pockets, instead of investing the people and technology that could have made a difference.

They wasted so much money on the stock repurchases used to artificially drive the price up.
