Thread regarding Barnes & Noble layoffs

The biggest sign this company is doomed

The majority of employees who were hired in the past year have read a maximum of five books (if that many) in their entire lives. It still amazes me they were able to even get a job but then I realize - you have to take what is on offer. And nobody qualified is even considering B&N anymore.

With so many working from home, no one is going to B&N. Meanwhile Amazon can't hire enough people! Wonder if they treat their employees with respect.

Yep, an employee can't even support their own company now.

Just bought Bob Woodward’s new book on Amazon. $30 list price. Bought it for $18.
Cheaper than my discount.

Also the fact that they refuse to price match anyone, even themselves. That right there is insanity, and they deserve to fail for that reason alone. Down with Daunt and BN.
