Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

This comment on another stream is getting much attention internally. Leaders do read this page and try to glean sentiment from our workforce.

This must be HR. My business partner mentioned that one of the many problems with HR is that none of the GMs like or respect each other. They all insulate themselves with "their people". Its quite comical that a group of "emotionally intelligent people", do such a poor job managing their own organization.

HR selections were a week after the other selections so that HR could help manage the other selections. It makes sense, although it would have nice if they would have explained that. HR folks just started getting notified this week, or maybe last Friday if they were lucky.

Just got back from the gym and saw the selections email. All jobs posted...except HR. How hard is it to post under 100 jobs? HR leadership fails again.
