This layout sounds so stupid the stock team layout for shifts is very ridiculous. The roles are even more stupid “business owners” sounds professional for a unprofessional place like Walmart. So pretty much you guys want to bring back the attendance policy and stop waiving occurrences for associates so you guys can move on with these messed up changes with the company instead of worrying about associates health.

I rather take a Severance Package then to stay with a company that doesn’t appreciate hard workers but worship and reward lazy workers. There’s no point of switching up the company when amazon already beat you to the trillion dollar mark.

Just another program to get rid of employees that have been here 5 or more years. Sams Club did this and it worked already

As a former ASM and now a SM at a competitor, it’s going to be interesting to watch. I feel sorry for the DMs and managers displaced by this. There are going to be a lot of older ASMs and DMs cut due to their age. With no ownership of areas, it will be interesting how instock, features and Backrooms will look.

GWPis a very well fine decision that they are making, the attendance I say that they are putting back in place i is “ABOUT DAMN TIME!” too many abusers and to excuses employees have been taking there own free will to take a day off, when there are close to 40 million filed for unemployment, evicted, no food to eat, or have there cars being repossessed to many employees who work for Walmart and you know whom and some of they are abused i, so now the good ones with a good ethic record messed it up for everyone else. This is not a free ride it’s called a “JOB” If talking about and trashing Walmart then why did you wanted to work their in the first place? If you don’t like things are changing such as GWP QUIT” there is someone already is right behind in place to take your spot. MANAGEMENT is wise to every employees track record who to let go and who to keep. To much excuses, abusing call outs and goofing off. NOW SIT THINK ABOUT IT, someone is right behind will be taking your place in a instant.

We were told no severance package. Your pay would stay the same for thru October 22nd 2021 if you didn't get a team lead position.

The God-awful Work Place will become another failed experiment by the Home Office like 95% of the garbage they roll out to the stores and clubs.

The Home Office has a philosophy to 'fail fast.' (There are plenty of articles on it out there.) The sad thing is, no pathetic thing, will be that the HO will keep the GWP in place well past it's expiration date and never admit they made a mistake with it. (For those in the know, the same thing happened with Project Harvest. Project Harvest did a massive reorg in the HO around 2009 that caused dysfunction and a Hunger Games-type environment. It took about 10 years before it was slowly phased out and things returned to the way they were prior to the 'harvest.')
