It's been a few days and I'm still seething. This company has shown once and for all that it has absolutely no respect for their employees. I’ve dedicated over 10 years to this place, volunteered to cover shifts, worked longer hours and for what - to get a Dear John letter. Not even a face to face. Shame on them!!!

30 year employee, worked my a– off, worked every holiday, was called in when there was an emergency, sacrificed my family time, lost countless hours of sleep, all for 4 weeks of severance. Ever heard of KARMA?? It will take hold of S.R., S.N.,M.S. and every useless member of the board. KARMA, KARMA, KARMA. You will all have your day!! It will not be pretty. KARMA — the sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.

Dont worry I am in the same boat. 14 years of changing plans, working from open to close, coming in on days off and more and not even a call from my manager. Then the worst part is they had my job posted online along with a bunch of other people.
