Barra’s Failing Strategy of Retaining Diversity Candidates

Now Barra has lost her Indian female CFO and her black female VP Alicia Boler Davis that went to Amazon. Perhaps these are early indications that diversity candidates at high levels do not like working for GM or Mary Barra?

Well, think about it.

If you're a POC who's made it to a C-Level executive role, why the hell would you stick around at a company that's in secular decline in a hellhole like Detroit and Michigan when you can take your credentials and easily land just as lucrative of a position at any GROWING Fortune 500 company in a desirable location?

With 80~90% management in GM are white, I guess they don’t like to cheat the public as the representatives of GM diversity.
