Tokyo Disneyland has just announced that they are laying off 1,000 Cast Members, giving them severance packages based on their years with the company. Universal Florida also just announced more layoffs this past weekend. Walt Disney World and Disneyland (Anaheim) layoffs are coming, they just want the “positive” publicity of having waited the longest before doing so. Sad times for all of us waiting in “hope.”

That's beside the point. Theme parks around the world are shedding employees at a rapid rate.
Tokyo Disneyland is not managed by Disney. They're the only Disney resort that lease the "Disney" name.
