As a company rep for several oil majors who has visited BoD plant on hundreds of jobs in the past decade and more i can confirm everything said in the post below, if Baker put as much effort into producing quality tools as they put into duping their clients they would not be in this position, i would happily take part in any investigation and am quite sure The Layoff can supply contact details for me should any government agency wish to pick this up and investigate these malpractises, i have every report for every job spanning back 15 years.
QA and management should be concerened.

That plant was meandering along, pushing tools out the door to hit week, month, q/year ends to meet targets. Doesn't matter if tools weren't fit or didn't follow procedure/requirements. We'll just submit a request to the client to accept. Revenue was king. I get revenue is important but surely if you preach integrity then you should do likewise. Any downfall has been coming and I feel for all colleagues there.

I once had a meeting with an oil major who proclaimed BH had the worst tools on the market in terms of quality. Says it all really.
