Any other stores closing in NYC?

There is no severance by name, they call it "retention bonus" because when they do this the rules regarding severance don't apply LOL. And there's nothing in writing, so it's all subject to change at any given moment, and I don't trust them to stick to their initial offer, I can see the company claiming poverty just to skip out on the deal.
Hey glad to hear you’ve already got your life after this place figured out! No severance for the employees of the stores closing if you hang tight till the end? Or will they just ask you to go to another location? Either way it’s time to move on IMO as well
I’d shutdown everything in NY and focus on southern US.
193 used to be A+, the business has shrunk to a B-level at best, if not a C. The building is just way too big for the sales volume, and they’ve realized they can’t keep building new stockrooms in front of the old stockrooms. No, really, we have a stockroom in front of another stockroom. The landlord has been bringing prospective clients through the building for months now, so we’ve seen it coming. Used to be a great store, but we’ve felt abandoned for years now. Oh well, it’s almost over, I got my new job lined up, and I’ll be out before the closing sale starts.
#193 is Closing??? That’s an A+ isn’t it? I remodeled that store back in like ‘06! All overnights for like a month and a half. Eric Silva was the SM back then. Every finger wall was taken down and moved a couple feet then rebuilt/re-merchandised to accommodate a #610 shop. Biggest waste of time and payroll. Best part was the temps from the city over asking for rides to get food (booze) on break and then home at the end of the shift. Every shift. No No NO
Do you know which CT stores are closing? I only know of 193, and 597 was in the last round of closures.
I heard of 4 stores in ct closing.
Are they paying severance or offering transfers?
