Not sure who in CVX made that decision, but this is a terrible date to change or end someone's career. Well, probably nobody will notice or care anymore

No, they didn’t think about the timing but they didn’t need to. I understand, emotions are high right now.
Look, this is just a reality of today’s world, some people are gonna be let go. It happens about every 5 years. It is what it is.
