Worked as an ASM. I got the call back for less hours/pay. What a slap in the face that offer was. Spent a good number of years with this company, working my way up from the bottom. I know others who have also got the call back, make no mistake there is a network at BBB of employees who DO keep in touch and will keep each other in the loop. I wanted to refuse it but with children to feed and clothe what other choice do I have?

Don’t mess with my money or my honey!
Get a new job 😂😂😂anyone who chooses to stay is just scared to embrace change. This company is going under and if you don’t see that it’s on you. Plenty of jobs out there. Just have to want it.
Severance package. Anyone get it in writing????? They say you don’t have to pay it back. Read the agreement. You realize that you won’t have all the money to pay it back if at their discretion they demand it. Close to 35% will be withheld for taxes.
Y ou STILL get the severance package, even if you come back.
It's It is LOL 😆 😂 🤣
LOL 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆
If you come back part time what happens to your severance?
Go back, but file for unemployment if your hours AND pay have been cut. You may be entitled to compensation for SOME of the loss of income, but it may depend on the policies of your state. I did this years ago when I could only get a PT job when I lost my job as a store manager due to the store closing, for a different company. I was laid off from BBB on 8/25, and was called back on Sept. 4th. I went back last week with a cut in pay and hours, but they know I am looking for another FT job.
Why does who want to write what?
Why do you want to write this?
Um....get another job? File for unemployment? There's other choices...file for unemployment..there's a good chance you will be making more..put on your thinking cap
And.... what about the severance agreement you signed saying they can get their money back if you return to work. You signed a legal document. If they told you not to worry you have no recourse. Insist on it in writing. The severance agreement has to be amended by both parties.
BBBY is going to end up with a workforce of disgruntled associates who are expected to provide excellent customer service—how will that work out?
It is full time or part time?
