Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

This is not an airport. You do not have to announce your departure.

Look out. Upper management told our Pro Specialists to get Pro Apps, completed customer surveys, Lowe’s for Pros links, Pro Specialists sales budget, etc., or they would be fired. They were were told by upper management that they didn’t who or how they got it, whether it was by relatives or dead people, they just had to get the apps, surveys, etc. They were told to complete the surveys themselves if they had to.

The other other day the specialists were called to the asst mgrs office, one by one, and were suspended and were told that they would know in the next few days if they would be fired. They had been following directions from upper management. They all had families and needed their jobs, so they felt heavy pressure to do these things, even though they didn’t feel right about it. The pressure has been incredible on these good people. They make a lot of money for our store, and many contractors pass by other Lowe’s and THD to come to our store because the Specialist take care of them.

We have heard for some time that other store meet their budgets of Pro Apps, surveys, etc, so our store should too. After a little checking, the other stores were doing what our store had been pressuring our Specialists to do.

Remember what Wells Fargo had been doing?

It appears that THD did this cleaning out the specialists thing while Marvin was there.
