Im constrained by the fact that no one has positively responded to my applications at other companies. Right now i have to s— this up. If the schedule wasnt constantly being changed maybe some would feel like they had more of a life outside of Belk. Its not about being a savior for Belk or vice versa. Id like to go in and feel like my work is valued and my time is respected.
Target pays hourly assoc. $15.
Tons of local Amazon positions open at $15+.
Wally World starts at 12...team leaders...several dozen to a store....start at 18.
You are constrained only by fear.
Then again...and it does apply to many...come in, do your best, do no more than asked and you are able to comfotably accomplish and then go home AND HAVE A LIFE OUTSIDE OF BELK! YOU are not the savior for Belk and Belk is neither your savior. Do what you can, take the pay, and carry on as so many do. You're not alone.
