This is another half assed thought from the corporate office. These are the most uncomfortable masks I've worn yet. My manager said that people will be written up or fired for not wearing the company issued masks. These masks smell terrible, don't fit and I'm not allowed to wear my MUCH safer CDC recommended N95 mask instead. They're putting more people at risk.

FYI...the company understands the problem with the mask, and has stated " you can go back to using the paper ones" until the situation is fixed.
Nothing has been said to us about wearing THEIR mask. Some are wearing it...some aren’t. As long as you are wearing a mask. Yes they will fire you for not wearing one...but doesn’t matter which one.
Still waiting to see if we get those masks

I have cut and sewn to adjust the size and elastic bunched up to at least fit somewhat

Wore the official mask all day yesterday and now the back of my ear is all chafed. The ear loops feel like sandpaper!!! Will be wearing my own mask from now on!!! Btw Quick Check has good ones (pkg of 3 for 5.99)
Who ever prototyped the masks has a super small head and doesn’t wear glasses. But I will wear the mask that doesn’t fit my head and when I loose my footing on the ladder because my glasses moved the wrong way from the bunjee cord making my sore ears pertrude. And I fall off , Injuring myself after calling a code 11 . At that point I will call Broadsphire . Obviously at this point they want us to be terminated for wearing a mask impairs our vision. I’m sure any lawyer would love to take this case. Wear the unsafe mask and have a lawyer on speed dial.
They are way too tight and hurt your ears. I would love to see the corporate staff who are working from home wear this for 8 hours a day. Just another f U to the employees again.
I figured people were exaggerating and whining on here, but these masks are comically bad! Who thought it was a good idea to wrap the ear straps with stiff, bunched up fabric? And one size fits all?! I hope someone didn't actually see these before they signed off to order thousands of them. If they did see them and said "yep, looks good" then that's a whole other issue. These masks should only be used to punish associates for not getting enough emails or beyond stores. I'll gladly call broadspire to get an exemption.
Ridiculous amount of bureaucratic BS to have to call Broadspire over this. Makes me think someone at corporate is getting a kickback from the contract with them!

Do we have the option of just continuing to wear the disposable mask the store provides...these work fine for me.
My DM won’t even wear one! Lol

the CDC recommends the general public NOT wear an N95 and save those for healthcare workers

So here’s what happened at my store this morning regarding the masks. We were told that LOD has to send an email naming the associates who won’t wear the masks, and those associates are directed to call Broadspire to request an accommodation to wear your own mask. I did just that this morning, and it was pretty seamless. Takes a couple of days to process, and you need to let your SM know you did it. But if granted you’ll be able to wear your own mask, as long as it’s a solid black or blue in color.
