There is life beyond this company. Mental health awareness in this company is critical due to the toxic culture of gaslighting and abuse. In some cases, this company does irreparable harm with no realization of how horrible the culture actually is. Don’t like the results? Want to capture market share? Stop looking out at the horizon, and instead look inside- a company will never continue to succeed when their employees are miserable, and leadership is tone-deaf and willfully blind

As a former employee released from a lay-off in September last year, I can attest to the fact that there surely is life after Allstate. As far as the state of mental health/morale at Allstate; it was going down slowly since 1995 when we broke from Sears. Seemed as the years went by, managers became more and more micromanaging. By the time dispatch department was given notice, the micromanaging was out of control. Someone mentioned the term "gaslight" in another post. That was true and more. I had a doozy of a "manager". A genuine bully who loved to constantly pick on me. I don't want to sound whiny but since I started to report to him a few years ago, my PDS went from Exceeds/Meets to needs improvement. He was disgusting. Complaints to the RCL fell on deaf ears. It's a shame how a once fabulous company has now become a bargain bin business. The mental health of employees is so critical. Managers need to LISTEN and address the bad egg situation with an abusive manager. Good luck to all and know that you WILL be ok.

And the stock price maintains, they do not care.

Agreed mental health is of critical importance. There is and will be life beyond these companies.
