Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

I'm also 50ASM

My real question is whether or not I was a contract employee or an at will employee. I had to sign an agreement when my pay was converted from salary to hourly. I was guaranteed to work 50 hours per week for a sett amount of pay. As far as I am concerned, that was a binding agreement that I was told by my District Manager this would be the case unless I stepped down or left the company. Sounds like a binding contract of employment to me.

Your post sounds right. I looked for my copy of that agreement, and could not find it.
Just wondering what other ASM know....before I sign the new one.

Get over it. You are an at-will employee. The document you signed just establishes pay and hours while you are employed. You keep posting this over and over again. Get a life.

Unless you signed a contract that stated you are guaranteed employment for a set amount of time, you are at will.
