Is there no employee protection for a FT reduced to PT? Is the employer now being protected due to Covid19? FT employment comes along with benefits, including participation in company health insurance. Find it hard to believe an employer can simply reduce an employee’s FT position to PT. This isn’t just about ability to work a certain amount of hours.
When forced down to part time do they pay out holiday and vacation time? Do you lose personal days?
Remaining full timers will be screwed over...either take part time or quit...no severence...no applying for unemployment...oh and I forgot about the pay reduction!!!
I was laid off from my FT position and told I could re-apply after 2 weeks for PT. I'm glad that they didn't just reduce me to PT instead of letting me go.
What areas were full timers forced to go part time
Why is it some full timers just get laid off so they can collect unemployment and some they cut them to part time and they can’t collect unemployment? Doesn’t seem fair at all

Customers calling complaining about delayed shipments. I went to order something for someone and it said mid October! It was a wamsutta sheet set...a basic item

What really stinks is us old fulltimers wont get the severance! Just another way to s&”&! Us over!!
Will happen sooner than later....MT is following the same plan he used at Target. Only FT will be management positions.
