Its the least they could have done. We would have gotten the extra $600/a week with the Covid Unemployment benefits. They really screwed us over so many more times than I can count.
There are so many other retailers out there, and i am confident everyone of you will get another job. Just don't give up and keep trying, even after having doors slammed in your face. And if retail isnt for you, its NEVER too late to go back to school! My mom went back to school when she was 45, got her degree, and made DOUBLE what she was making before in food service.
I took my severance and bounced. Even if they didnt give you a severance, I highly recommend you leave as well. I already have a second interview with Costco. Fingers crossed!
