I’m at Buybuy baby so we were still open during the pandemic, but we’re a fulfillment store so when this first started we went from like 50 orders a day to 200+, and it stayed like that even after our foot traffic went back to normal during COVID. When they laid everyone off last week, we would only get one CDS a day maybe (my guess is because MT cut the fulfillment position) and now today i walked into 100+ orders on the bench that we’re supposed to fill.... I’m just wondering how MT thinks that makes any sense to cut the fulfillment position because it’s “not needed” and then bombard a store that’s basically only got 4 employees (including managers) working in a day, expecting us to be able to fulfill these orders. Anyone else at fulfillment stores experience this???

The system is breaking. You have more and more with less knowledge trying to train others who don't have a complete concept of what's going on. A recipe for disaster.
I can attest to the CDS carnage going on, my ASMs are asking me to work overtime to help them with this mess, no problem with me as the remaining long-term staff actually respect each other.
To make matters worse, the PTs are trying to train other PTs, not good and getting us nowhere... we already have three PTs expected to bail with the SHTF.
I was rtv. I did the cds Bopis cip pulled the mandatory rtv. Worked the vdc and vdc 14 report as well as bridal. Not too mention I was the only associate who could do returns in the morning if front end got backed up. I was at an A volume store and let go. I also worked receiving
You get 2 people? Our RTV associate is supposed to pull all CDSes, pack and ship them AND keep up with mountains of returns and RTVs all at the same time, and she can’t keep up. And since we’re down more than 10 associates between layoffs and quitting there’s no one left to help.
Anther day of hell...with CDS orders. 2 of us expect to pull, and then pack&ship. We're not given enough time to do it all. We have 1 Manager who helps, the others forget about it.
Then the orders turn red....and SM yelling to get them done. Can you come back and give us a hand, nope 😠😠
Company will self implode at this rate
Omg reading all these comments, BBB Has turned into one big dumpster fire🤣
Our store got 200-300 daily. Not sure how they're running it now since our whole team was made up of leads and we're all gone.
Time to give up asking phone numbers and emails...customers are furious this is still required after months. It’s old
And, what is the deal with email captures? I was told i do not get enough emails at the register, and if i do not, I will be fired. I get called up to help ring when the line is down the isle and the goal is to get them the hell out.
Then, why are the store managers so obsessed wit the CDS orders?
The store I worked at has a month reprieve from having to do CDS as the store is grossly understaffed and a total mess. We were getting 100+ a day even after re-opening. Why did they lay me off right now? :(
Yes, were in the same situation at BBB stores.Let the TBS orders sit there and turn red, maybe then someone will address the problem and fix it.
Yes, exactly as you described it. We’re being bombarded with CDS orders, and the only people who knew how to do them got laid off last week.
