I was terminated on Tuesday & still haven’t received my packet (via FedEx) just curious if others have received their’s (I did receive the email)
I reached out to HR for a tracking # and I still don’t have an answer...
Maybe they’re just busy answering the 1 800 number 🤣

The effective date of your agreement is the day after the 7 day waiting period. They hav 2O Business days after that to issue your funds. So you are looking at a month. Also severance pay is taxed at 22% so after that state and payroll taxes you walk away with about 65%
OMG! You have 45 days to review the package!
You have 7 days after you send it back to change your mind!
After the 7 days it will be paid out in the next pay cycle!

@jfw+16IVdkxV no sorry. You have 7 days to rescind your acceptance after that they have 20 BUSINESS days before a check is issued. Bascially it is a month. Read your agreement.
I accepted severance package on Thursday. Called HR this morning to check on. First packet should arrive today or Tuesday. Should get second packet to accept severance and with agreement to send back and then receive $. Will still take 7 days to get paid out after they receive back. One good thing she told be was insurance will be subsidized to our regular rates for the same # of weeks as severance.
