Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Mr. Tritton, an honest question...

How come asms get 90 days of full pay before they are dropped to lower hours/pay?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Disgusting with so many fine workers being let go with little/no warning.

Was this common practice for you at your other employers?

Training no longer exists at “any” of the BBB stores. It doesn’t matter how hard you may work on a daily basis. What matters at BBB is, how willing are you to go to kiss a**! That’s the bottom line!!!!!!

They also decided to make it impossible for me, a newly hired in February 2020 department supervisor, to come back after five months on furlough, and live up to the expectations that were set while I was gone. I never received the training!
The store manager told me that if the expectations were not met, disciplinary actions would be taken!

He may as well told me they would bring me back just to fire me!
How is that even ethical??
