For techs looking for a job check out amazon. I was hired as a tech 2 /rme 2. I was an Igen tech for Xerox. Pay beats Xerox. They are hiring like crazy. Like 100 techs per Fulfilment center which they are opening everywhere.
4x 10h shift so 3 days off a week. I'm taking my rme 3 test before my first paycheck lands and when I pass Ill be making about 50% more.
Easy to move to IT, management, anything. Most the managers are 3 months old to give you an idea of expansion rate.
Oh and local HR onsite.
So, this is confirmed; some tech layoffs in the northeast?
The real northeast region got smoked back in May. Techs carrying 20 calls a day in their q. Driving 200 plus miles everyday. Most of them have been brought back. Not me yet...
Anyone have any additional info on Stewart/Capital/ESI?
NY NJ and PA are not northeast
Is the Northeast the only region? Have they had furloughs before, or is this the first round for them?
Regardless, I'm sorry to hear about anyone being impacted. Hoping for the best for everyone involved.

so far 3 specialist and 4 techs. nj. at the same time stewarts bringing back 14 techs off of furlough today.
