I think since I was a 50ASM, then cut back to 45dep sup that the Store Manager should also receive some kinda of loss $$ or require them to work 50.
My store Manager comes in late everyday, not scheduled to open or do Put Away. Comes in and heads to the office. Most days were not even sure if there in the building. I would think that you would come in do a floor walk and help with put away, but no . Especially now with so much freight hitting our store.
Then comes time for lunch....we do 30 minutes. And then the SM does there own thing, gone for at least an hour, and longer. Then after lunch decides to be LOD , and sits in the bridal room. What's the policy, any one know ? And no dosent stay later. Maybe sometimes.
So basically I'm working more hours than the SM, and earning less money .
Should I call HR ??? Talk to DM ??? Will there be repercussions.
I've worked along with different SM's and they have been hard working, freight put away , replenishment. A true lead by example.

Don't eat! They don't care. They do not like any feedback. Only people pushing sunshine up the butts of MGMT and HR will stay. Until the whole company comes crashing down. It's going to happen within 2 years.
Does Their own thing? Get that SM on a register - gonna happen sooner or later, right? RAT them out to HR. They make the big bucks - RAT EM OUT! They need to do their job. Call Mark Tritton - he is the example, right?
Yeah for the THEIR poster!!!
Mines the same way. At least 8 hours a day in the office. Manages by walkie through the window. But I know upper management always defends the SMs so what's the point. Our time is almost over too. I'm just doing my job till they tell me to leave. Not worrying about THEIR work ethic.
Does ANYONE on this board know how to use THEIR VS THERE? SM does THEIR own thing.
u need to stop whining or get a SM job
So true. They need to get off that imaginary pedestal
