Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

How’s Store 361 doing after all this?

I was one of the FT laid off last week, and the store wasn’t doing that good because of how understaffed it was before the layoffs.
They were constantly calling for backup because the store was always packed with customers and the PT associates (which were mainly all cashiers) would always call out.
Customers would complain everyday because there was no one on the sales floor to help them and the Baby department had only 2 employees (one if them a dept sup keyholder) and they let them both go from what I hear..
I can only imagine now that they let go of majority of the full timers there.

PT workers are not the answer for this company.Do you think they will really work as hard as a FT? There is no future in BBB. The remaining fT should leave.

All stores are under staffed now. Mass hiring PT what I hear.
