Just when I didn’t think they can screw people anymore I read this about even cutting PT’s. I hope all you store managers walking around carrying all these secrets feel good about themselves. When their through with you they’ll kick you to the curb like they do to everyone

Before you judge, realize I'm the ops asm and am saying I wont be doing the job of my store mgr anymore. No PTs ever do any aspect of my job ever. Also, i was told to hire 5-10 PTs in next few weeks and cut PT to 10-15 hours a week. So that will be coming to a store near you very soon.

Well I worked for a certain amount and did what I did. Now that I've been cut in pay. I will adjust what I do to what I'm paid. Wont be helping and going the extra mile. Those days are over. Until I find another job. If they get mad, fire me. Then I'll do unemployment till I find new job.

I decided to leave.
No severance, I would rather take my chances witht the market then take a $16000 pay cut.

I applied to TjMaxx, Target and Home Depot.
I had 1 phone interview today for Target. I have my next on Monday and then they said a second would be on Wednesday at the same store as their district staff would be there that day anyways.

I’m optimistic and I needed this kick. I’m not waiting to jump on the horse. I already had my resume ready because of reading this forum.

This forum is a helpful place if you let it be that.

Did you really think it was just you out of 55,000 employees? And that the $12,000 was going to save the company!? Yeah pal...just you

I would be homeless on only making $12,000 a year working full time. I only make around $24,000 before taxes and I'm already struggling. Can't wait to get a job that pays a livable wage.

Take the severance. We all knew this was coming when we became hourly.

Losing $8k a year and was told my store will be closing in the next two years so I won’t have a job. They said rack up the ot now and I won’t be able to transfer to another store. Great positive insight from our hr team.
They just don’t care about their employees just making the stock holders happy. BBB is getting worse.

Not quite as much as you but definately significant enough that I cannot continue to work here anymore. Its rediculous to think that anyone thought we can just take pay cuts like this and still expect us to want to continue to work for this company.

To be honest, my pay cut was around $15,000.

It s—s, but I need my job until I can find something different at least.
